Life Enrichment
When old age is here
We all have our fear
Where will I go
What will I do
Can I still tie my shoe
All of these thoughts
Go thru my mind
And slowly my body starts
To unwind
What will I do - who will I find?
But my family said
Don't worry Dad
Don't look so sad
There is a place called
Our House - Assisted Care
Who will take you thru
Your worries and wear
Inside there are special people
To help you climb your mental
Steeple
So here I am without fear
With all these people
To welcome me here
It was hazy but best of all
I could keep Lassie
My room is simple
And to my style
I couldn't find one of these
Within a mile
The people who work here
Are oh so kind
Your care and feeding
Are number 1 due on their mind
I now thank God
Who favored me well
To allow me to say
This place is swell
